The final event of this year's Bud Light Striper Challenge is scheduled for this Saturday at Highport Marina. This series of tournaments has been sponsored for the last 2 years by the Pottsboro Area Chamber of Commerce.

This final stage of the tournament is being held with the Flip Flop Foundation for the benefit of the Bryan Davis Family. Bryan Davis, son of the tournament owner, died earlier this year in a freak fishing accident and a portion of the proceeds will go to his family.

Even if you are not entering the tournament, stop by Highport and enjoy some fried fish while you watch the fisherman weigh in their catch. Weigh-in for stripers begins at 1 p.m. The fish fry begins at 12:30 p.m. There will be food, raffles, a bounce house and games for both adults and children.
