The 126th Birthday Celebration of President Dwight D. Eisenhower will be in Denison, October 8th! Join us for Ike’s 5k and fun run. Come out and run the historic streets of Denison with us as we celebrate the birthdate of the 34th President, World War II hero and Denison born Dwight D. Eisenhower. The race will start and finish at the Eisenhower Birthplace. The race will be part of Denison's celebration of Eisenhower’s birthday, with many other events scheduled for the day. Runners and walkers of all ability welcome. The course is flat and fast, perfect to run a PR. We will have cash prizes for the overall male and female winners, there will be awards for the top finishers in each age category and awards for the participants of the fun run. We will have a drawing for many great door prizes. The race is chip timed by Chip to Chip Race Timing.
